Alina Kulbaevna Galeeva is the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the former Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, PhD, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, and an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher (h-index 7, Scopus ID: 56436524000; ResearcherID: A-8292–2015; ORCID: 0000-0001-9303-5277).
She was awarded the title "Best University Teacher of 2020." She is the author of over 65 scientific publications, 25 of which are in high-ranking journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She is the supervisor of several successfully completed and ongoing projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A key achievement is the implementation of the State Foundation for Research and Development project "Creation of an innovative production center for the finishing of metal products," under which a galvanizing coatings workshop was launched (2022–2024).
Her scientific interests cover electrochemistry, including galvanic production, corrosion processes of active metals, and the development of electrochemical energy converters. She specializes in the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for use in high-energy systems. Under her guidance, three new structures were discovered and more than ten such compounds were synthesized.
