Altynai Sakenovna Tanash is a research intern at the "Electrochemical Production Technologies" laboratory and a 4th-year undergraduate student at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Researcher ID: NZN-9053-2025; ORCID ID: 0009-0007-9268-7063).
Her research activity is focused on two key areas. The first involves studying the leaching processes of cathode materials (LiCoO₂, NMC) from spent lithium-ion batteries for the efficient extraction of valuable metals. The second area is dedicated to the synthesis and investigation of anode materials for sodium-ion batteries, particularly compounds based on NaTi₂(PO₄)₃ (NTP).
Her scientific interests cover technologies for recycling secondary raw material sources, electrode materials for ion batteries, and hydrometallurgy methods in the context of sustainable development and a circular economy.
