Ignat Aleksandrovich Ushakov is a research intern at the "Electrochemical Production Technologies" laboratory and a 2nd-year undergraduate student at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
He participated in the international conference INESS 2025 (Nazarbayev University), where he was honored with the award for the most creative poster presentation.
His research activity is focused on two key areas. The first involves the synthesis and study of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for use in "Needle Trap" devices to detect volatile organic pollutants. The second area is dedicated to the regeneration of cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries using the sol-gel synthesis method.
