Potentiostats/galvanostats
Potentiostats/galvanostats are essential equipment for any electrochemical laboratory and play a key role in the study and development of electrochemical processes. These devices allow precise control of potential and current between electrodes, which is necessary for corrosion research, development and testing of batteries, fuel cells and other electrochemical systems. With their help, scientists can perform a wide range of experiments, including voltammetry, chronopotentiometry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and much more, making them indispensable tools in electrochemistry.
Our laboratory has two Bio-logic SP-300 potentiostats/galvanostats, which are high-performance instruments capable of meeting the needs of the most advanced research in the field of electrochemistry. These devices offer a wide range of tunable voltage ranges from 10 V to 30 mV, allowing adaptation to a variety of experimental conditions. The voltage measurement accuracy is less than 1 mV from the set value, guaranteeing high reliability of the data obtained. Voltage resolution ranges from 1 µV over a ±60 mV range to 333 µV over a ±10 V range, providing exceptional voltage measurement detail for fine-tuning experimental parameters.
Current control offers nine ranges from ±1A to 10nA, allowing precise control of current over a wide range of values. This capability, coupled with its dual channels and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) board, makes the Bio-logic SP-300 potentiostats/galvanostats a powerful tool for complex electrochemical experiments that require simultaneous measurement and control of multiple parameters over a wide range of conditions.
